Content creator Wambo Ashleyhas had her new house blessed by her brother, a Catholic priest. The ceremony came days after she settled in following her separation from Nicholas Kioko.
She shared the moment on her Instagram Stories. Her caption read:
"POV: Your brother is a Catholic Fr., so you can't make a single move without getting blessed."
She added: "We thank God for him."
Blessing the house, room by room
The priest wore a cream vestment with a gold-trimmed stole. In one hand he held a green basin of water. In the other, he carried a bundle of dried stalks.
He started in the kitchen, near the fridge. He dipped the bundle into the basin and sprinkled water around the space.

Standing in the middle of the room, he swung his arm in wide arcs. Water scattered across the room. Israel Mbonyi's "Yanitosha" played in the background.
Robe off, car away
When the prayers ended, the priest removed his vestment. Underneath, he wore a grey polo and dark jeans.
He folded the garment and laid it over the arm of the sofa. Wambo added a caption to that clip where her and the kids were discussing the correct name of the priest’s rob: "Funny conversation behind."
He then left in a maroon car. The last caption read: "Roms call him Uncle Patha."
The priest in the family
Wambo's brother was ordained a Catholic priest in July 2024. She shared videos of the ordination and the village celebrations around 13 July that year. She also documented the family's thanksgiving mass at home soon after.
Kioko and Wambo announced the end of their relationship on Monday, 14 September 2026. Their statement said: "After four years together, we have mutually decided to go our separate ways."

The announcement came weeks after Wambo publicly played down breakup rumours in August 2026.
The pair said the split would not affect their duties as parents. Their statement added: "We are choosing peace, respect and a new chapter."
They also asked the public to respect their privacy.
Kioko later shared a video of a largely empty house he appeared to have moved into.
