The Ministry of Health is intensifying contact tracing following confirmation of an Ebola case in Kenya, with hopes of identifying all contacts within 48 hours to facilitate timely intervention and prevent further transmission. Public Health Principal Secretary Mary Muthoni said the government also has an established communication network, through the Office of the Government Spokesperson, to keep the public informed about the outbreak and response measures.
