Comedian and activist Eric Omondi has returned viral internet personality Henry Omondi, popularly known as JKIA Boy, to school for the third time after the teenager repeatedly left the institution.

Eric addressed the matter in a TikTok video following claims that he had abandoned Henry and failed to pay his school fees.
The comedian visited the institution and shared footage of his conversation with the school’s principal, who explained what had happened since the teenager’s admission.

School Principal Breaks Silence

According to the principal, Henry joined the institution on September 2, 2024, and had access to necessities, including food.
The principal denied claims that the school had sent the teenager home over unpaid fees, saying he had instead chosen to leave.
“Henry was never sent out of the school by the school. Henry left on his own. He decided to leave,” the principal stated.
He also recounted an incident in which a school watchman spotted Henry attempting to leave through the gate.
When the guard tried to stop him, the teenager reportedly ran towards a nearby river before being retrieved and taken back to the office.
The principal further explained that Henry had previously agreed to return to school, with plans for him to complete his studies and graduate in March. However, he later disappeared again.

Eric Warns People Against Giving Henry Money

Eric also addressed people in Henry’s community, urging them to stop giving the teenager pocket money whenever they found him in town instead of attending classes.

The comedian appeared unhappy with the situation, arguing that the money could make it easier for Henry to remain away from school.
His latest remarks challenge the claims that financial support was withdrawn and raise questions about why the teenager has repeatedly left the institution.

How JKIA Boy Became Famous

Henry shot to fame in July 2024 after a video of him speaking out against the proposed Adani deal involving Jomo Kenyatta International Airport went viral.
His remarks earned him the nickname JKIA Boy and attracted widespread attention from Kenyans online.
Eric subsequently stepped in to support him, helping enrol him in a technical and vocational education and training institution to pursue a mechanics course.
In November 2024, the comedian also shared footage of Henry experiencing his first flight and touring JKIA.
Henry’s latest claims against Eric have since drawn attention to their relationship and the support he received following his rise to fame.
While the principal maintains that Henry was not sent home over fees, the reasons behind his repeated departures remain unclear.
