Cabinet has approved the settlement of verified Government pending bills of Sh50 million and below. The payment of close to 29,000 verified bills totalling Sh23.74 billion recommended for settlement, will bring long-awaited relief to thousands of suppliers andcontractors, some owed money since 2005. The decision follows a comprehensive review by the Pending Bills Verification Committee, which received 115,617 claims worth Sh664.8 billion.
