Jamaican dancehall star Shenseea has added another major luxury purchase to her lifestyle after reportedly acquiring a 2026 Lamborghini Urus SE Hybrid, a high-performance SUV that comes with a jaw-dropping price tag.

The sleek Italian machine is among Lamborghini's latest luxury SUVs, combining the brand's aggressive design with hybrid technology and supercar-level performance.

The Lamborghini costs US$270,000 in America

The 2026 Lamborghini Urus SE Hybrid starts at approximately US$270,000 (about KSh 35 million) in the United States.

That figure, however, is only the starting price before the vehicle is shipped to another country and subjected to taxes, duties, registration and other associated costs.

For a celebrity such as Shenseea, the SUV is more than just a means of getting from one destination to another. It is also a statement of success, with the Lamborghini badge carrying plenty of prestige.

In Kenya, the price could hit KSh 80 million

For Kenyan fans wondering how much such a Lamborghini would cost locally, the answer is considerably more painful for the wallet.

Once import taxes, customs duties, shipping, registration and other charges are factored in, the Urus SE could cost an estimated KSh 75 million to KSh 80 million if brought into Kenya.

That means a vehicle starting at about KSh 35 million in the US could end up costing more than twice that amount on Kenyan roads.

The difference is largely down to the additional costs associated with importing and registering high-value vehicles.

Jamaica could also come with a massive bill

Back home in Jamaica, the luxury SUV would not exactly come cheap either.

Depending on applicable taxes, duties and other import-related charges, the Lamborghini could reach an estimated J$70 million to J$90 million (about KSh 57 million to KSh 74 million).

That makes the Urus SE a serious luxury purchase regardless of whether it is sitting on Jamaican or Kenyan roads.

What makes the Urus SE special?

The Urus SE is not simply a luxury SUV with a famous badge.

Lamborghini combines a twin-turbo V8 engine with an electric motor, giving the vehicle the performance expected from the Italian manufacturer while bringing hybrid technology into the equation.

The result is an SUV capable of delivering blistering acceleration while retaining the practicality of a larger vehicle.

It can accommodate passengers and luggage, but make no mistake — this is still a Lamborghini.

Shenseea's luxury lifestyle

Shenseea has established herself as one of Jamaica's most recognisable contemporary dancehall stars, building an international fan base and collaborating with major names in global music.

Her success has also afforded her access to the glamorous lifestyle often associated with top entertainers.

The Lamborghini Urus SE fits perfectly into that image.

With its striking design, powerful engine and eye-watering price, the SUV is the kind of vehicle that attracts attention even before its owner steps out.

A KSh 45 million difference

The price difference between the American market and a potential Kenyan price is particularly striking.

At roughly US$270,000 (KSh 35 million), the Urus SE already costs a fortune in the US.

But at an estimated KSh 75 million to KSh 80 million in Kenya, the same vehicle could command an additional KSh 40 million to KSh 45 million.
