Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has called for the adoption of modern food markets to promote value addition and accelerate commercial opportunities for farmers. Speaking at the Agriculture and Food Summit at Jamhuri Park, Sakaja said modern markets equipped with digital and other advanced facilities would strengthen agricultural value chains by supporting processing, storage, distribution and marketing at different stages.
