President William Ruto has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the agriculture sector for the benefit of farmers and consumers. Speaking at the Agriculture Summit at Jamhuri Grounds, Ruto said the government had taken steps to eliminate cartels across various value chains, subsidise farm inputs, expand farmers’ access to both local and international markets among other measures.
