President William Ruto has continued to defend the Lamu oil refinery project, saying it will play a key role in driving Kenya’s economic development. Ruto says his administration is focused on putting the country on the right development path by attracting major industries. He cited the recently signed three-billion-dollar e-mobility manufacturing project as another major investment expected to boost industrialisation and create economic opportunities.
