Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse has assured residents and motorists that the Government is taking urgent steps to address road safety concerns along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway, particularly around Mlima Kiu and Salama. Speaking during an engagement with UDA grassroots leaders at Kasikeu in Kilome Constituency, Mutuse said the Government was responding to the continued loss of lives along the highway, following the recent multiple-vehicle crash at Mlima Kiu that claimed 17 lives.
