Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has emphasized that the establishment of the Dangote East African Refinery in Lamu County has been made possible by the improved security in the region—a stability he actively championed during his tenure as the CS for the Interior. Speaking in Gatanga, Murang'a County, Kindiki highlighted that the restored peace and counter-terrorism successes have transformed the country into a viable and secure hub for massive international private investments like the Dangote refinery.
