Kenya Coast Guard Service is executing aggressive pre-deployment measures to secure high-risk water zones ahead of the El Niño rains along the coastline. Through a statement, Ministry of Interior noted that strategic assets and response teams have been positioned across vulnerable areas, including the Tana River Delta, Lamu Archipelago, Kwale County, Mombasa creeks, Kilifi Creek and the Sabaki River to safeguard local communities.
