A 19-year-old schoolboy has been sentenced to life imprisonment after a Lamu court found him guilty of defiling a nine-year-old boy at a primary school.Principal Magistrate Peter Wasike convicted Ali Hussein after the prosecution, which called five witnesses, proved the offence beyond reasonable doubt. The court relied on the child’s testimony and medical evidence showing injuries. Kutu, who had been in custody since October 2025, was given 14 days to appeal.
