Health CS Aden Duale has ruled out closing of Kenya’s borders or discriminating against people from countries affected by Ebola, following the country’s first reported case. Speaking on a morning TV show, Duale said governments will strengthen screening and testing infrastructure at all points of entry instead. He urged Kenyans to avoid handshakes, hugs and crowded places, and wash their hands frequently with soap to curb transmission.
