Health CS Aden Duale says Kenya does not have an Ebola outbreak, describing the reported case as an imported incident involving a patient who travelled from D.R Congo. Speaking on a morning TV show, Duale said the government had put in place preparedness measures since the Ebola outbreak was confirmed in May this year the World Health Organisation. He said Kenya had not been caught off guard by the Ebola threat, unlike the experience at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
