Energy CS Opiyo Wandayi says Kenya expects to begin oil drilling in Turkana within two months as the government advances plans for refining and nuclear energy. Speaking during the handover and dedication of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s mausoleum at Kang’o ka Jaramogi in Bondo, Siaya County, Wandayi said they could return to the region next year to break ground for its first nuclear power plant in East and Central Africa.
