The Truckers Association of Kenya says road indiscipline and poor road design are contributing to the high number of crashes on Kenyan roads. Secretary General Dennis Kilea says indiscipline affects all motorists, noting that most truckers are trained on lane discipline and work shifts with regular breaks to prevent fatigue. He says about 90 percent of truckers are disciplined and rarely overtake.
