Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen has cautioned leaders against exploiting cattle rustling and banditry as political tools for heroism. Addressing the National Assembly Security Committee, Murkomen warned that some politicians purchase ammunition for local residents to posture as community defenders, worsening inter-community tensions and undermining official peace efforts during the political season.
