The Ministry of Health has intensified its response to Ebola following the country’s first reported case, strengthening contact tracing and surveillance. Public Health PS Mary Muthoni says 10 people are currently in quarantine, while 57 contacts have been identified. Speaking during a stakeholder meeting at the ministry headquarters, Muthoni said health officers nationwide have been activated and the country remains on high alert to ensure a timely response to suspected cases.
