The lecturers’ strike has entered its sixth day, with negotiations between UASU, KUSU and the government continuing. KUSU Secretary General Charles Mukhwaya says there is no breakthrough yet, with lecturers pushing for improved pay, better working conditions and the implementation of their collective bargaining agreement.
