The Ministry of Tourism is working with the Ministry of Health to enhance safety measures following the confirmation of the country’s first Ebola case. Tourism CS Rebecca Miano said the ministry has established a fully-fledged resilience and crisis management centre at Kenyatta University. Speaking during the 16th Magical Kenya Travel Expo, Miano assured tourists that the government remains vigilant and will take all necessary measures to ensure Kenya remains a safe tourism destination.
