President William Ruto has congratulated Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on his re-election for a second term. Ruto said the mandate granted by Ethiopia’s House of People’s Representatives reflects confidence in Abiy’s leadership and vision. He said Kenya looks forward to working closely with the Prime Minister to advance shared interests for the mutual benefit of the two countries, the region and the wider global community.
