KMPDU has called for urgent measures following the death of a patient who had tested positive for Ebola Virus in Nairobi. KMPDU Secretary-General Dr. Davji Atellah is demanding transparent, effective contact tracing; fully equipped isolation and treatment facilities; and stronger protection for frontline healthcare workers. The union says preparedness must be strengthened to prevent further transmission and protect the public.
