Deputy President Kithure Kindiki says he will reach out to his colleague politicians in the Mt Kenya region in a move aimed at promoting peace and unity in the region ahead of the 2027 General Election. Speaking in Kiambu, Kindiki said regional elders had tasked him with uniting the region. He urged leaders to avoid political rivalry and incitement, saying divisions and violence are not in the best interests of the region’s prosperity and well-being.
