Transport CS Davis Chirchir has stated that the government is seeking funds to repair roads identified as hotspots for frequent accidents. He noted that there are long-term plans to expand several roads, including the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. Additionally, Chirchir mentioned that the preliminary investigation report regarding the accident at Salama over the weekend is ready.
