The WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says the WHO is supporting Kenya, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo in responding to the Ebola case confirmed in Kenya. Tedros says the support includes contact tracing, surveillance and screening to quickly identify potential cases and prevent further spread. Kenya’s first confirmed patient, a citizen who had been living in the DRC, travelled to Nairobi through Kampala before dying yesterday.
