DPP has opposed bail for seven people charged with the murder of psychiatrist Dr. Victoria Mutiso. Led by Deputy DPP Jalson Makori, the prosecution told Justice Alexander Muteti that releasing the accused could threaten witnesses and their families and interfere with ongoing investigations and the trial. The prosecution also alleged the suspects had the means and influence to coordinate surveillance, procure criminal implements and conceal evidence.
