The mother of Kenyan club host Ciggie Johnson’s child has insisted that he remains the biological father of her 12-year-old daughter. Her position follows a paternity test that excluded Johnson as the biological father.

Johnson had provided full parental and financial care for 12 years, covering rent, school fees, and daily living expenses. The public dispute surfaced on 3 October 2026, when Johnson published a video confronting her over the initial test outcome.

Allegations of Test Manipulation

During a live phone call on Oga Obinna’s podcast with Johnson present as a guest, the mother rejected the medical findings. Asked how she could maintain that Johnson is the father despite the negative test, she offered a direct explanation.

“Ciggie bado ndiye baba mtoto. Hiyo DNA kuna tu vitu zimefanyika hapo zenye sielewi. I’d love us to repeat the DNA test and let it be where people are not corrupt,” she said.

She claimed that the medical laboratory results were compromised prior to release.

“I feel Ciggie might have manipulated the results because this is something that has been between us for years.”

When asked if she believed Johnson had secretly altered the findings, she confirmed her belief.

She stated that she did not oppose the initial paternity test when it was proposed.

"Coz I knew it was going to come out positive.”

She acknowledged that Johnson had been involved in the child’s upbringing.

"Yeah, he was, but the past two years it's been just so many fights."

Willingness for a Repeat DNA Test

Regarding a fresh medical test, the mother expressed readiness to undergo another procedure. However, she noted that conducting another paternity test presents a financial obstacle.

During the exchange, a financial pledge was made if a second test confirms paternity.

Pledging Transparency With the Child

The mother was asked if she would admit the truth to her daughter if a repeat test comes back negative. She committed to taking immediate responsibility.

"I will do that the same day that the results come out."

She confirmed that she would speak directly to her 12-year-old daughter once new results are delivered.
