President William Ruto has announced that 20 per cent of homes being developed under the affordable housing programme will be reserved for teachers. Speaking during World Teachers' Day celebrations, President Ruto said the arrangement will give teachers a dedicated share of units in affordable housing developments. The Head of State said the government is working with the TSC to make it easier for teachers to acquire the homes through a check-off system.
