Machakos Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi has criticized the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC), accusing it of failing to take action against leaders making remarks he says threaten national unity. Mwangangi accused the commission of laxity, saying it continues to watch as some leaders make inflammatory statements that could undermine cohesion among Kenyans.
