The National Government, Council of Governors and Social Health Authority have agreed on a new framework for contracting county public health facilities under the 2026–2029 HAKIKA cycle. The agreement has been  reached today at Afya House, Nairobi, with parties agreeing that clean claims be settled within 90 days. Existing facility contracts have also been extended to October 14 to prevent disruption of healthcare services
