DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua has maintained that the opposition will remain united ahead of the 2027 General Election, accusing President William Ruto of attempting to divide the opposition. Speaking during an engagement with clergy in Boston, Massachusetts, Gachagua claimed that attempts were being made to disrupt efforts to build a united opposition front. He said the opposition would continue working towards fielding a single candidate to challenge Ruto in the 2027 election.
