Kenya must adopt a coordinated approach to ageing that links healthcare, social protection, income security, housing and community support, Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has said. Speaking at the close of the International Day of Older Persons Conference, CS Mutua, whose speech was delivered by Social Protection PS Joseph Motari, said ageing was a national development issue requiring collaboration between government, communities, private sector and older persons themselves.
