The family of prominent Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo has confirmed that he and his wife, Lucy Muteke, were among six people who died in a helicopter crash in Marondera, Mashonaland East yesterday. Family spokesperson Mr Herbert Chivayo confirmed the deaths to national broadcaster Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC).Chivayo, one of Zimbabwe’s best-known businessmen, was widely recognised for his flamboyant lifestyle, luxury vehicles, private aviation and high-profile philanthropic activities.
