Preliminary findings indicate that fuel spilled after a helicopter crashed in Marondera, Zimbabwe, triggering a fire that burnt grass at the crash site killing prominent businessman Wicknell Chivayo. Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe Director General George Mashababe says investigators are yet to establish what caused the crash. Mashababe says the findings are preliminary and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident are ongoing.
