President William Ruto has mourned Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo, describing him as a dear friend following his death in a helicopter crash in Zimbabwe. President reflected on his personal relationship with Chivayo, whose repeated visits to Kenya had made their friendship increasingly visible this year. Chivayo had appeared with Ruto on several occasions, including meetings at State House and visits to the President’s private residence in Kilgoris. The Zimbabwean businessman had also publicly spoken about investment discussions in Kenya.
