Murang’a Senator Joe Nyutu is seeking a statement from the Senate Standing Committee on Roads, Transportation and Housing on the preparedness of the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) and the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) for the anticipated heavy rains. Nyutu wants the committee to explain measures in place to prevent flooding and mitigate damage to road infrastructure.
