The Ministry of Health is intensifying its campaign against drug and substance abuse by engaging diverse stakeholders. Public Health PS Mary Muthoni today met clergy from across Kirinyaga County in Kutus to discuss practical ways of preventing abuse, identifying cases early and helping those affected seek appropriate support. She urged the Church to use its platforms to promote prevention of drug abuse, encourage SHA registration, and advocate handwashing, hygiene and other healthy practices among congregants.
