ODM party leader Oburu Oginga has welcomed the groundbreaking of the Sh2.2 trillion Dangote Lamu oil refinery, describing the project as a major step towards industrialisation and economic transformation of the Coast region.  In a statement, Oburu praised President William Ruto for his support, noting that the project will create jobs, generate power and expand the LAPSSET corridor.
