Kenyan travel content creator Miss Trudy moved followers to tears with a raw, unguarded video shot in her Nairobi Apartment on 28 September 2026. She held her baby close as she spoke about one of the darkest periods of her life.

The clip, posted to Instagram, shows her returning to the same apartment where she once lost two pregnancies.

Two losses in Nairobi

She described one night when bleeding started and she rushed to Coptic Hospital, close to her home. Doctors told her it was too late. Nothing could be done.

A second loss followed under similarly devastating circumstances. Hospital scans first showed the baby was fine. A later visit brought heartbreaking news.

"They told me, sorry, we lost. We lost. We lost it. And they had to clean me. They had to remove it. He was a boy."

Her voice broke as she spoke. She said she then phoned her husband to tell him, and he broke down.

Six miscarriages in total

Miss Trudy said she has had six miscarriages in all. She admitted the losses shook her faith.

"I started asking God, God, why are you letting this happen to me? How many times do I have to go through this? I felt so defeated and so alone."

From heartbreak to testimony

Yet the tone of the video shifts as she looks down at the baby in her arms. Returning to the same home where grief once consumed her, this time with her child, moved her deeply.

"I can't help but give God praise. I can't help but be grateful," she said, composing herself.

Miss Trudy directed her message specifically at women navigating infertility and pregnancy loss. She urged them not to abandon hope.

"Where it seemed impossible, one day you'll come back, and it's going to be so possible."
