The government has been urged to keep hospitals fully operational and stocked with ant malarial and diarrheal drugs during the El Niño rains. KMPDU Deputy Secretary General Dennis Miskellah says preparations should go beyond infrastructure to ensure both patients and health workers can access health facilities during emergencies.
