Africa needs between $ 130 and $ 170 billion in annual infrastructure investment but faces a financing shortfall of up to $ 108 billion. The upcoming Africa PPP 2026 summit in Nairobi will explore ways to mobilise private and domestic capital, including more than $4 trillion in savings and assets held across the continent. Discussions will also focus on preparing bankable projects and managing risks such as currency volatility, regulatory uncertainty and changing interest rates.
