Foreign companies are seeking to expand their footprint in Kenya’s construction industry, targeting opportunities in building materials, industrial structures and digital project management. At the Big 5 Construct Kenya Expo in Nairobi, Royal Industries’ Vinod says the UAE-based firm is exploring growth in construction chemicals, sports flooring and steel fabrication. The firms hope to expand their presence by offering contractors specialised software to manage project costs, procurement and accounting.
