Edwin Sifuna, leader of the ETP party, has clarified that their dispute with the Registrar of Political Parties is not about the party itself, but the name and symbols associated with Linda Mwananchi. Speaking during a meeting with aspirants for various political positions in Nairobi, Sifuna said Kenyans had invested heavily in building the Linda Mwananchi movement brand and would therefore not ignore the registrar’s refusal to register Linda Mwananchi as a political party.
