Mining Cs Hassan Joho has called on African nations to cooperate on competitive mining corridors, strengthen regional value chains and attract responsible investment. The proposal comes amid public concerns over whether mining projects deliver enough local jobs and benefits, protect communities and the environment, and ensure transparency in licensing and revenue-sharing he added that  governments will need clear safeguards and accountability measures to build public trust as they pursue investment and infrastructure development
