IPOA has expressed deep sorrow following the death of Senior Assistant Inspector General Lazarus Opicho, who served as Commandant of the Security of Government Buildings unit.In a statement, IPOA Chairperson Dr. Duncan Owang’ Oburu extended condolences to Opicho’s family, friends, colleagues and the National Police Service as he recognised Opicho’s role in protecting national institutions, public officials and people under police protection, describing his death as a significant loss to the country’s security sector.
