Kenya added at least 411,700 new electricity customers to the national grid by June 2026, pushing the total number of connected customers to more than 10.4 million. This is according to the latest Energy and Petroleum Statistics Report. The new connections marked a slight increase from the previous financial year, when about 395,000 customers were connected.
