Human rights activism in Kenya should not be associated with persecution and victimization. KHRC Head of Communication Ernest Cornel says police conduct has contributed to the constant victimization of activists, which he says could be aimed at instilling fear and discouraging others from joining human rights advocacy. He says the problem is historical and requires urgent action.
