Arrow Bwoy and Nadia Mukami have spent seven years making music together. The partnership started with one request and one recording session.

A partnership that began in 2019

The pair first worked together on Radio Love in February 2019. The song was Nadia's breakthrough and won two awards at the Pulse Music Video Awards that year.

The split

On 20 May 2026, Nadia announced the separation in an Instagram post titled "Postpartum & Heartbreak". She described an on-and-off relationship over the previous 18 months.

"I fought so hard but I guess I lost." — Nadia Mukami

She said they would remain committed to co-parenting. The couple were together for nearly seven years and have two children.

Here are five notable collaborations from their journey.

1. Radio Love (2019)

The song introduced them as a duo and was Nadia's breakthrough. It won two awards at the Pulse Music Video Awards that year.

2. Raha (2021)

The pair reunited in August 2021 on Raha, from Arrow Bwoy's Focus project.

The official video has passed 5.8 million views. By then, their relationship and their music were closely linked.

3. Kai Wangu (2022)

Nadia featured Arrow on Kai Wangu, a track from her Bundle of Joy EP. The project reflected her journey into motherhood, and the song centred on her unborn child.

The video has more than 9.7 million views. That makes it one of their most-watched collaborations.

4. Mi Na Wewe (2023)

The pair released the four-track Love & Vibes EP on 2 June 2023. It included Mi Na Wewe, Sosa, Bebe and Dawa.

Mi Na Wewe looked candidly at the ups and downs of a relationship. Its lyrics acknowledge arguments, reconciliation and staying together.

5. Yumba (2026)

Their latest release came out on 25 September 2026. Nadia had announced the end of the relationship on 20 May, after an on-and-off period of about 18 months.

Yumba is an Afro-pop song about uncertainty, mixed signals and broken trust. The title comes from the Swahili idea of swaying or instability.

Arrow Bwoy shared his feelings on Instagram the day after the release.

"Sometimes I choose to keep quiet, but yoooh, it hurts." — Arrow Bwoy, on Yumba

The video includes an argument scene. It is part of the storyline and is not a literal account of what happened.
