Saboti MP Caleb Amisi claims he founded the Linda Mwananchi political movement, which he says evolved from the Kenya Moja outfit that brought together young leaders. Speaking on Radio Jambo, Amisi also claimed to have coined the “Mimi ni Sifuna” slogan associated with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna. He said the movement was formed to challenge the political status quo and push for an end to what he described as poor governance by the political old guard. Amisi added that despite supporting Sifuna’s presidential bid, his main focus  would be to advance the interests of his People Renaissance Movement party.
