President William Ruto on Sunday attended church service at Pentecostal Church, Mwatate, Taita Taveta County.
Ruto worshipped alongside local leadership, including Taita Taveta Governor Andrew Mwadime and Mwatate Ward MCA Joseph Kennedy Mwalegha.
The church engagement follows his intensive development tour across Taita Taveta County on Saturday, which included launching roads, inspecting the Mto Mwagodi–Wundanyi road, and addressing constituents-as part of an ongoing eight-day tour of the wider Coast region.
Ruto’s Coast tour covers Taita Taveta, Kwale, Kilifi, Mombasa, Tana River and Lamu counties.
The programme includes inspection and launch of development projects, issuance of title deeds and engagements with local leaders and residents. The President is also scheduled to oversee the groundbreaking of the proposed East Africa Refinery in Lamu.
